Routines and Tools

Build your knowledge base

Give Launch Point the context it needs: your company, audience, voice and decisions.

4 min read

The knowledge base is your team's approved reference library. The chat, routines and agents search it before they answer or act, so the better it is, the more the work sounds like you.

What to put in it

Start with the pages that change the most answers: your company overview, your ideal customer, your brand voice, your competitors, your offers and pricing, and the decisions your team has made. Setup drafts the first three from your website.

Add pages

  1. Open Knowledge in the sidebar and choose the Company tab.
  2. Click New Document to write a page, or Upload file to add a Markdown, text, Word, PDF or image file.
  3. Click New Folder to group related pages.

Owners and admins publish straight away. Pages from anyone else arrive as proposals for an admin to approve.

Review what Launch Point proposes

Launch Point suggests new knowledge as you work: when a task is marked done, from meeting notes and from documents you publish. Each suggestion lands in the Pending tab, says why it was suggested and where it came from, and shows exactly what would change. Click Approve or Reject.

Your personal pages

The Personal tab is private to you, admins included. Fill in your role, your goals and how you like to write, and your own chats use them.

Move it in or out

Owners and admins can click Export to download your published pages as a zip of Markdown files, or Import to bring pages in. Import skips pages it already has.

Every save keeps a version, so you can go back to an older one.
