Routines and Tools

Connect your tools and set permissions

Connect the marketing tools you use, and decide what the AI may do in each one.

When you connect a tool, the chat, routines and agents can read from it and, where you allow it, act in it. Each person connects their own account, so the AI only ever sees what you can see.

Connect a tool

  1. Open Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Find the tool under Popular or its category and open it.
  3. Click Connect and sign in to the tool. Some tools ask for an API key instead: click Add API key and paste it.

Your connected tools are listed under Connected. To stop using one, open it and click Disconnect.

Choose what the AI may do

Open a connected tool and go to Tool permissions. Set each action to one of three levels:

  • Always allow. The AI uses it without asking. This is the usual starting point for reading data.
  • Needs approval. The chat stops and asks you on an approval card before each use.
  • Blocked. The AI can't use it at all.

Actions that spend money, publish, contact a real person or delete something are double-checked before they run, even when they are set to Always allow. Agents only get actions that read data.

For admins

  • Switch off Available to your team to turn a tool off for everyone.
  • Click Add custom to connect a tool that isn't in the list but offers its own connector. The form calls it a remote MCP server; the tool's maker gives you the address.
