When a reply stops or a tool won't connect

What the messages mean when a reply ends early, a tool needs reconnecting or a code doesn't arrive.

A reply ended early

  • "You stopped this reply." You clicked Stop. Send your message again to start over.
  • "This reply was interrupted before it finished" or "This reply didn't finish." Something cut it off. Ask it to continue, or send your message again.
  • "Pick up where I left off?" A long job reached its step limit. Click Continue to carry on.
  • The message box says the workspace has used its replies for the month. Your plan's allowance is used up. An owner or admin can change the plan under Settings, then Billing.

A tool won't connect

  • Reconnect. Your sign-in to that tool has expired or was removed. Open Integrations, open the tool and click Reconnect.
  • Turned off. An admin has made the tool unavailable to the team. Ask them to switch it back on.
  • Waiting on the vendor. The tool's maker has not finished approving our connection yet. Nothing to do on your side.
  • The chat says it can't use a tool. Connections are per person. A teammate's connection doesn't count for you, so connect your own account. Also check the tool isn't set to Blocked.

The sign-in code didn't arrive

Check your spam folder. The code works for 10 minutes, and after 60 seconds you can click Resend code.
